Forums
In the future, users will be invited to engage in fruitful dialogue, connect with a network of relevant stakeholders, experts, individuals, communities and organizations active in the domain of languages, share information, and contribute to the promotion of linguistic diversity within your country, region, and at the global level.
This platform aims to facilitate information sharing, multi-stakeholder dialogue at all levels, and build new synergies to encourage international cooperation, informed decision and policy making, as well as empowerment of language communities, to support the world’s languages.
The World Atlas of Languages will include two main forums, where registered users are encouraged to engage in discussions and fruitful exchanges with respect to a specific language, a language in country, as well as country profiles. Other Forums can be created for other purposes, according to the needs of the global community.
Currently, social media channels are used as open space for sharing ideas, news and stories about language and languages in country.
