The World Atlas of Languages invites all users to register and share information about their work by submitting reliable and accurate data, together with resources about languages, creating different categories of events, uploading a variety of materials, and sharing information about ongoing initiatives and projects in the field of languages.
Share data and statistics on languages
The data can be submitted by any National Department of Statistics, any national language harmonization and all standardization organizations, higher educational organizations including those which have a national mandate and receive national funding to carry out fundamental research and data collection.
In future, efforts will be taken to work closer with officially recognized civil society organizations and language communities, along with private entities.
Share your audio-visual resources
The audio-visual resources can be submitted by media outlets, individual journalists, artists, registered civil organizations and other partners.
Share textual resources
The relevant textual resource about the world’s languages, such as news items, academic papers, and reports can be also shared with the World Atlas of Languages team. This could include information about an individual, community or country, news, events, conferences and other information.
Share your feedback
All registered users are invited to submit their comments and suggestions for the enrichment of the data and information on languages in a country or countries), along with information related to user functionality and technical aspects, or to share feedback on any other related issues through this form.
Create events
All registered users are invited share information about upcoming events that are related to languages and in line with the objectives of the World Atlas of Languages, using the dedicated form.
