Create and Revise

All designated focal points from UNESCO's Member States are welcome to contribute to the building of the World Atlas of Languages as a reliable source for the assessment of linguistic diversity around the world. The World Atlas of Languages relies on data endorsed by national governments, departments of statistics or other competent national organizations mandated to collect data and information on languages used in the country, which many consult academic institutions or civil society groups for the purpose.
